About Project
The inspiration behind this project comes from growing concerns about the increasing vulnerability of young people across Europe. Challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine have intensified existing social inequalities and created new obstacles for youth—especially those from remote areas, marginalized communities, or countries with fragile socio-economic systems like Bulgaria and Greece. In countries like Spain, youth unemployment and the high number of NEETs (young people not in education, employment, or training) further highlight the urgency for action.
Our project aims to address these challenges by empowering young people through social entrepreneurship. We believe that innovative social and technological solutions can play a key role in building a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future.
By providing young people with practical knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship—particularly in the field of social innovation—we help them become drivers of positive change in their communities. The project also incorporates elements of natural sciences and aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to foster meaningful and long-term solutions to today’s economic, environmental, and social challenges.

Main Objectives
This project is built around several key objectives designed to empower young people and promote social innovation through education, digital access, and international cooperation:
-
Research and Analysis
To examine the current state of skills, attitudes, and opportunities for promoting and implementing social innovations and social enterprises based on ideas from the natural sciences in Bulgaria, Greece, and Spain. -
Entrepreneurship Education
To equip 60 young people from Bulgaria, Greece, and Spain with knowledge and practical skills to develop new entrepreneurial models rooted in social innovation and the principles of sustainable development through non-formal education methods. -
Digital Learning Access
To support the digitalization of learning for young people from vulnerable groups by offering opportunities for online and remote education. -
Trainer Collaboration and Mobility
To bring together 9 trainers and consultants from partner organizations in international mobility programs. These experts will mentor and support young people in developing innovative solutions to local social and environmental challenges. -
Raising Awareness
To increase public understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the global efforts to address humanity’s social, economic, and environmental issues. -
Capacity Building
To strengthen the capacity of the participating organizations to engage in international partnerships focused on social innovation and social entrepreneurship.

Results
Our project aims to make a lasting impact by empowering youth and promoting innovation at the intersection of science, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
